5th District Event Coordinator ~ Steve Leger
I am a Firefighter/Paramedic with the City of Brookfield, WI Fire Department, starting in 1997. I am a Charter Member of the IAFF-MG. It was an honor when I was asked to be the Wisconsin State Coordinator. Now it’s an even greater privilege to be appointed as the 5th District Event Coordinator.
I have been married for 17 years to Susan, and we have two rambunctious boys, Zach 9 and Joey 7. I started riding (Hondas) when I was 18. In 2001 I got my first Harley, a 1997 Ultra Classic. When the Firefighter editions came out I had to have one. I currently ride a 2002 Harley-Davidson Firefighter Special Edition Ultra Classic and Susan rides a 2003 883 Sportster. The four of us enjoy going on local rides and we are active in our local HOG chapter. I have put on many miles going to Sturgis several times, NYC on the one year anniversary of 9-11 and all of the IAFF-MG National Rallies. I encourage you to come along to the next Rally and meet your Brothers & Sisters from across the US and Canada.
As stipulated in the IAFF-MG Constitution and By-laws, each IAFF-MG District must hold at least two events annually. IAFF-MG District Coordinators will post information regarding upcoming events and activities on events/rides within your District. If you have any ride ideas, please feel free to contact me so we can share it with our Brothers & Sisters.
If you should have any questions and/or need additional information about upcoming District Events please contact Steve Leger or the IAFFMG's National Coordinator Michael J. Crouse.
I hope to see you all on the road. Ride Safe ~ Steve
